The Grimsby Scorpions are an American Football team based in Grimsby who approached me and a fellow design partner at the time Jake MacDougall. The brief was to design their team logo and brand moving forward. As a new team, the initial branding was essential to them.

The design borrows from the traditional illustrated style of American sports team logos, utilising thick and thin strokes and flat, contrasting colours to generate detail and definition. The fronts and images were all hand drawn and then imported into Illustrator.
